About Course

Did you try delving into the world of macro photography and your images didn’t turn out as expected? It’s very common for this to happen and cause frustration.

Achieving striking images of insects with very high levels of magnification might initially seem simple. Ideas like “I can do it with that lens” or “I just need to get very close to the subject” are some of the most common assumptions regarding this technique.

These preconceptions are closely related to the technique which, while important, is not everything. Online, we find confusing information that is always related to getting close to the subject.

To achieve images that surprise and excite in macro photography, we need to balance technique, lighting, composition, and artistry, to reveal an infinite set of structures, functions, and colors that are impossible to appreciate with the naked eye.

Therefore, in this course, you will not only learn about technique but also advanced concepts of lighting, composition, and art in nature.
