Private Mentorship 

During these years (15 years doing Macro Photography) I have evolved in my craft and learnt so much, and now I’d like to pass some of that knowledge and experience on to you. Whether you’re just starting out, or you need some coaching to get to the next level. 

Personalized Mentorships are private sessions in the field focused on macro photography. For one person or a small group of people. If you are a beginner on the technique or you are aspiring to uplevel your macro photography skills no matter what level you are currently at, this is a great opportunity for you!

You can choose to spend just one or several days in the jungle with me, improving your technique and getting more confident with your ability and the result you obtain.  

My philosophy

Ethics are always before any picture. Always Nature First. 

All my photographic work is made in natural conditions without manipulation of the animals. 

I won’t offer you a stage session, we will work in the jungle, taking advantage of every creature we find. Working this way you will learn how to overcome the difficulties of every situation to get the best possible result, without interfering so much with animal life. 

The topics

We will address all the necessary knowledge to overcome the complexity of the macro technique and get stunning shots. That includes technical information; however, we´ll also cover the creative and artistic angle. My biology background and time spent in the forest doing field work and photography gave me the knowledge about the forest and its inhabitants. Knowing the behavior and the ecology of the animals gives us an advantage at the time to take photos, as in every kind of nature photography. 

The topics we will cover depending on the level you already have:

• Basic concepts of photography applied to macro photography
• Macro photography
• It’s complexity and how to overcome it
• Lighting
• Composition
• Plus, you will learn about the ecology of the animals and the forest. 
• and we will practice, practice and practice.

We will also make a review of the results you obtain, so you can focus your attention on the weakest aspect you have!

Beside the opportunity of perfecting your macro photography skills, you will also have the opportunity to photograph the wildlife in the most biodiverse place on earth. This includes a wide array of mammals and birds for which you will need a different setting of that of macro photography.
