I’m very happy to see this story in Nature Vision. It came from something I’ve been learning through years of looking for small creatures: finding them is not only about seeing more, but about realizing how much we normally miss.
The glass frog in Witness was a perfect example. As I looked at it through my macro lens, its body seemed to disappear into the leaf, and I found myself wondering where the frog ended and the forest began.
I hope the images in this issue make you slow down for a moment, look a little closer, and become curious about the small lives hiding in plain sight.
